This module is designed to take a potential entrepreneur through an overview of the processes of starting a business, from first thoughts about self employment to the practicalities of starting up. It consists of a series of activities, checklists, flowcharts and tasks to make you think about your proposed business. The aim is not only to give you the theory behind setting up a business, but also to give you the necessary tools to begin doing it.

This Unit looks at business requirements and e-Business solutions. An evaluation of e-Business Systems will be looked at from both a consumer and business perspective and students will be required to specify the informatio systems and information technology infrastructure required for e_Commerce systems.
